Quick Start Guide

Follow these steps to get started with Phonexia Voice Inspector:

  1. Download the latest version of Voice Inspector here.
  2. Extract the downloaded ZIP archive.
  3. Obtain a license from Phonexia.
    • The license file must be named license.dat.
    • NET licenses require an internet connection to communicate with Phonexia's license server.
    • USB dongle and HW licenses do not require internet access.
  4. Copy the license to the application's root directory.
    • Place the license.dat file next to VoiceInspector (Linux) or VoiceInspector.exe (Windows).
  5. Launch the application.
    • Run VoiceInspector (Linux) or VoiceInspector.exe (Windows).
    • A setup wizard will launch automatically to guide you through initial configuration.
  6. Explore with example data.
    • Example recordings are included in the ZIP package under ./examples/.

Getting Further Assistance​

  • Press F1 or go to Help > User Guide in the main menu.
  • Refer to the VIN-manual.pdf file in the application's root directory.
