Sending Files across Technologies
Each technology provides a Send to… option, available either as a bulk action or for individual files. Users can easily select the files they want to send for processing by another technology.
Sending files between technologies allows users to create a fast and efficient filtering workflow. Based on the results shown in the Quick Results column on the left card, users can selectively send only those files that meet specific criteria from one technology to another. By repeating this process across multiple technologies, users can gradually narrow down a large dataset to a small set of recordings that match very specific requirements (e.g., a male speaker speaking Chinese about airport-related issues).
If a file with the same name already exists in the destination technology, it
will automatically be renamed to filename - copy.wav.
For technologies that require additional configuration before processing—such as selecting a language in Speech to Text—a modal window will appear to prompt the user for these settings immediately before the processing begins.
Sending a file to another technology does not move the file. Instead, it creates a copy, so the file remains available in both the source and the destination technologies.
